During this year’s first PhotoNight, UNC photojournalism students Courtney Potter, Abby Metty, Cassie Butler, Emma Patti, Kate Napier, Roxanne Turpen and Jonathan Young will discuss their experiences with internships and summer projects. The presentation will include some excellent work published in the Washington Post, National Geographic, Raleigh News & Observer, Naples Daily News, Southern Pines Pilot and the Herald Sun. Also, Professor Davison will screen documentary work from “Andaman Rising,” the school’s recent project on the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami in Thailand.
