PhotoNight XLVIII with Travis Long

Please join us this Tuesday, January 27th for PhotoNight with Travis Long of the Raleigh News & Observer. In June of 2007, Long became the first photographer at the News & Observer to transition from still photography to video. His work has garnered dozens of awards including recognition from NPPA, the Casey Medals, the Webbies, the Society for News Design, APME, Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar and several state press associations. Travis has always considered himself a backyard journalist. He says telling the stories of ordinary and extraordinary people in his own community gives him the greatest satisfaction.
