PhotoNight Is Turning 50. It’s Time to Celebrate.

This Wednesday’s PhotoNight with Antonin Kratochvil will be the 50th PhotoNight at UNC. We think. Problem is we’re missing a few posters on the server and well, we’re just not 100 percent certain. The search will continue. Until we find those missing three, here’s a breakdown of 47 PhotoNights, dating back to 2003. PhotoNight is traditionally held on the last Tuesday of the month during the school year and offers students (and fellow professionals) the opportunity to learn from some of the best photojournalists in the world.

So again, please come join us for Antonin Kratochvil this WEDNESDAY (not Tuesday) at 7:00 p.m. PhotoNight L will be co-hosted by the UNC Global Center for Slavic, Eurasian, and Eastern European Studies. The event, as always, is free and open to the public.

  • When: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday April 1st, 2009 (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
  • Where: Nelson Mandela Auditorium of the FedEx Global Education Center
  • Free food: Of course.
